Don't have a board to try PCB:NG with, but want to play anyway? No problem. We've made up a simple design of a classic 555 timer "blinky" circuit, so that you can experience PCB:NG immediately.

The two files are:

  •  This file contains gerbers and an NC drill file in a ZIP format archive.
  • demo_555_xyrs.csv  This file contains the pick and place data, plus a DigiKey part number field.

Note that the demo design has "issues" so that you can enjoy the full PCB:NG feature set. For example, there are slight misplacements on some components, and a few orientation errors. Also, the LEDs do not have literal footprints for our placement wizard, so that you can try using the generic footprint function.
